The whole world is now awe with the release of Tesla’s cyber truck which is now flooding the internet with new features and design. The pickup has created a new buzz in the market without any doubt. Cyber truck concept is creating a sensation in the industry where Tesla has revealed its features like a six-seat pickup truck with three electric motors, armored glass and driving range of about 805 km.
Elon Musk who is the co-founder, CEO and product architect has confirmed that “1, 46,000 orders has been made for the recently unveiled cyber truck so far”, which is a massive count as the fact that it has been just 48 hours since the release of the cyber truck news.
Elon musk has also added that the number was reached by Tesla without even having any paid endorsements and advertisements. Small amount of just $100 (Rs. 7,165) of deposit is enough to make booking for the vehicle.
The cyber truck is available in three variants as follows:
- Single motor rear-wheel-drive variant with a range of 250 miles
- Dual motor all-wheel-drive variant with a range of 300 miles
- Trimotor all-wheel drives with a range of up to 500 miles on a single charge.
From these the dual motor variant has hit the list of bookings with maximum count of 61,320 followed by tri-motor version with 59, 860 bookings and single motor variant 24, 820.
The notable feature of the cyber truck is an unconventional angular shape which is not seen in any other pickup truck history, which has the only curved feature on the truck is its tires. The heavy-duty exterior shell is made up of “ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel”. It uses the same alloy metal that is used in Starship, the rocket SpaceX is developing to travel to Mars.
Cyber truck comes along with an adaptive air suspension along with Tesla’s auto semi self-driving technology. The tri-motor cyber truck range tops with a speed of 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and a towing capacity of around 6,350 kg.
The launch date of the cyber truck is not finalized yet, but can be expected to hit the markets at the end of 2021 at the earliest. The fully electric pickup truck starts with the price range of $39,990 (Rs. 28.65 lakh).
