Two trucks are waiting to make their impact in 2021 with the latest technology and features. All new pick up trucks has huge demands and many expectations from the customers. Tesla’s Cybertruck has released it’s model and it is nowhere resembles any of the other vehicles. Rivian R1T has also got so many features and can expect to give a tough competition to the former in terms of design and model. Since both, the models are not into production we have got a rough picture of their release and model. There are high chances of changes in their design after production and release.

SIZE
Rivian R1T is 217.1 inches long with a 135.8-inch wheelbase. While Cybertruck is much longer than it with a length of 230.9 inches with 149.9 inches wheelbase.
Both will look like usual trucks with few changes, Rivian R1T has the five-seater design whereas the Cybertruck has a five-seater model with the sixth seat as foldable which is located between the driver and the passenger.
DESIGN
With respective to design, it is subjective, cybertruck has got a new unique style compared to R1T which has got a conventional design with 5 passenger seating capacity and infotainment system in the middle as the rest of the vans. Anyways, what matters the most is the stuff inside the machines.

Rivian R1T
Cybertruck has got some feel of a mars expedition machine that can make people speculate what’s inside it. With new interior features like a new version of the touchscreen infotainment system, six-person seating capacity and many more.
TECHNOLOGY
Rivian offers many travel electronic aids like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and can be upgraded to buy level 3 semi-autonomous technology.
Cybertruck provides Tesla’s autopilot suite that can provide fully self-drive cars for the ones who pay extra and prefers it. There is some legal permission to be levied by the government to ensure the safe use of technology.
SPECIFICATIONS
Rivian has disclosed the specifications unlike Tesla, whereas the truck is available in three lithium-ion battery pack sizes as 105 kWh, 135 kWh and 180 kWh that can give the maximum driving range of 230,300 and 400 miles respectively. As ultra-quick electric cars are in rage right now, the variants will have a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.9, 3.0 and 3.2 seconds.
Cybertruck will also have three variant range but does not specify the size, but with a rough figure it is discussed as
- The entry-level model with 250 miles of range, 0 to 60 mph time of 6.5 seconds
- The mid-range model with 300 miles of range takes 4.5 seconds to reach 60 mph
- Top-end range model with 500 miles of range and within 2.9 seconds to reach 60 mph
PRICING
Tesla Cybertruck considers the base price of $39,900 in the US, whereas the top end will cost around $69,900 which is $900 cheaper than Rivian R1T.
