With car enthusiasts in India perplexed, about Renault’s decision to be silent, Renault recently has replied to the critics in style. That’s after the French makers land their new compact seven-seater – Renault Triber. With a robust design and classy interiors, the new Renault TRIBER is ready to make a statement. Here’s what our first hunch about the vehicle was.
From the outside:
Measuring shy short of four meters in length, Triber’s win-trick has been its 2636mm wheelbase covering the short bonnet and large passenger space. Intricate headlights fit the grill and sit under a clamshell bonnet giving it a sporty finish. With scuff plates, sturdy cladding, roof rails, the vehicle clearly imparts a French automobile culture. Moving to the rear, an upright tail & a spoiler atop the windscreen adds glam quotient to the automobile. In a nutshell, the vehicle gives a ‘masculine’ &‘macho’ finish from the outside.
On the inside:
The Triber is on the top of the 7 seater category, thanks to the ‘100+ seating combinations’ to give you all the space. The seats in the rear can be rolled over and be converted to a 2-seater with a huge 625L boot space. The next big thing is the seats and the dashboard. Triber’s dashboard is neatly laid out with modern requirements, an 8.0” touch screen on the center console. The seats are given a hot-matt finish appealing to the upmarket. The two cooling coils aid the air-con system to keep all three rows keep their cool.
Why Triber for your tribe?
- Numero Uno: Comes in a flashy price range of 4.95- 5 lakhs only.
- Facilitates long drives with a crazy mileage of 20kmpl and runs on petrol.

The rival:
Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga, a close rival, offers auto gearbox and proves to be more powerful. That’s easily counteracted as Triber clearly price cuts Ertiga which costs upto11.2L. Car geeks prefer that the technological aspect of triber is in no way inferior to Ertiga and has their upvotes.
Go for gold:
Having said what’s in store, Triber is the first of its kind ‘super foldable car’ and proves to be for the upmarket and the youngsters. With its in-depth segmentation, Triber is all set for you and your amigos to hit the country roads.
